Common questions

The bot posted nothing when a track started.
Check three things in Settings: the bridge shows online, Slack shows connected, and a channel id is set. For a private channel the bot cannot join itself, so run /invite @Hivequeue there. Quiet hours also pause posts; votes still count.
My 👍 or 👎 did not count.
Votes only count on the bot's own “Now playing” post, while that track is playing. The first time you react, Hivequeue matches your Slack profile to an account by email; if you signed in with a different email, sign in with Slack once and the two are merged.
/dj says the workspace is not connected.
Your office owner has not clicked Add to Slack yet, or disconnected it. The owner reconnects from Settings; the app remembers everything else.
What can the Slack app see?
Reactions and thread replies on its own posts, the profile (name, avatar, email) of whoever reacted or replied, and the one message a 🐝 reaction points at, to find the music link. It cannot read other messages, files or DMs, and it posts only to the channel you chose. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.
How do I remove it?
The office owner clicks Disconnect under Slack in Settings, or a Slack admin removes the app from Manage apps in Slack. Either way Hivequeue deletes the workspace token immediately. To remove your own data, use Delete my account in Settings.
